Photoshop Tutorials
This used different layers in order to bring color though into the main image. It was good in order to once again practice layer order and I liked the effect. Very Andy Warhol.
This was a photoshop tutorial and I think this could be really good for rendering water. I brought a photo is and then went to Filter>distort>diffuse glow (use settings 0,10,16). Then i went to filter>render>difference clouds and then the image has little selected areas all over. You select a large brush and go over the entire image...with 90% opacity and 100% flow. select the top layer and go filter>blur>gaussian blur (settings 2.0) It gives you a softer look. Oh, i found it on http://niftytutorials.com/

Collaging Pool Space
Pool Space:
Transforming: Sketching Scanning Collaging
I started to play with the image more freely in order to develop a sense of feeling and depth
(playing with darker values and a sharper feeling)
(adding a warm sense to the space with a soft yellow lighting)
when I started thinking about the spaces in my design i became really interested in the division of space created by walls. In this collage I used material in order to explore the type of mood and temperment i want these spaces to begin to develop. Because the second floor overhangs this particular area the realtionship between wall, pool and sky becomes central.
